All Chanel nail polishes come in the square-shaped glass bottles. The square cap at the top can be removed and used to rest your finger tip on as you apply the nail polish.
The applicator brush is thin allowing for precise application. It makes it particularly easy for those with little or narrower nails.
On My Nails...
Below are shots of Sunrise Trip on my nails in two coats (no base or top coat used). For reference, I have medium to tan, olive (~NC30-35) skin and all images were photographed indoors using a strobe.
Above: You can see the nail line a bit due to the translucent formula, but it doesn't make your nails look "unfinished" or odd at all as it has this glossy, translucent finish all through out the nails. It just looks beautiful!
I adore everything about this "nail gloss". The formula is excellent. It applies evenly in two coats. It wears beautifully. I'm currently on the fifth day of wear and so far, no chips at all, so I suspect this could go on for more than a week with no problems! (I find that most Chanel nail polishes stay on my nails for 7 days with little to no chipping). The colour isn't particularly unique, but the finish is just stunning with its slightly translucent, gel-like look and amazing glossy shine. It really does remind me of a highly pigmented lip gloss! Although the shade is dark, the translucent, glossy finish gives it "lightweight" feel and a fun edge that definitely makes it appropriate for spring. It's kinda like wearing a dark purple, but sheer chiffon blouse in the spring. ;)

Verdict
Sunrise Trip is undoubtedly, a must-have item from the Chanel 2016 Spring "L.A. Sunrise" Collection. It has a gorgeous, unique finish! I hope Chanel come up with more nail gloss shades in future.
